From the north we came,
frozen and raw,
saddled and bound,
with the winds we travel,
howling as we go,
bitten and broken,
hymns and songs of what we had left in our homeland,
remain in our hearts to be spread,
like echos throughout the highest of cliffs,
the tallest of trees,
and the deepest of oceans.
