Spring Loose Ends
I've been working like crazy, trying to tie up loose ends, sell all my stuff, and save as much money as I can to get back to Europe as soon as it warms up. I got a new refurbished camera and lens for the coming adventure; the Fujifilm XT-2, along with a simple TT artisans 25mm f/2 lens. a perfect and (and not too expensive) rig, perfect for travel and street shooting. I really love the different film simulation settings included in the firmware of the camera. There is even a cool variable grain effect I enjoy messing with. I rode to good ol' Fort Mclary to take some test shots with my new setup. spring is just around the corner, snow is melting and its about to rain some more. what a mess around here.

Helsinki
Passing through Helsinki, I had some time to wander and shoot some locations used by Aki Kaurismaki in some of his films. I did not yet know of, or get to see, the entertainment complex he owns. Next time, I guess...

The Revival.
Yes, it's true. The time has come for the revival of VERYmodular. I am preparing for a VERYgiant bicycle ride. I head out for Maine tomorrow, stopping in NYC for a night along my train route.
So nice to be feral again, free of the rat race. I don't even care if I run out of money. Who cares. I stayed with my father and his brother, my uncle Tom, in Reisterstown, just on the other side of the beltway from Baltimore. Cool city, might come back here. I guess it's where I was born? Weird.
Anyways, I'm back, toting the Sigma FP, along with an adapter and some old canon glass, and some other goodies... stay tuned, it's a surprise. Isn't it exciting!? Isn't it?
